The Future Starts Today

Admittedly, on writing and business, I haven't followed this one as closely this summer as I have in the past. I've slacked a bit on my business and writing goals this summer. However, I have followed this one on my relationship. So it equals out in the long run.

I have been following the stock market since I was in the 5th grade. My skill (15-16% a year with "name" stocks) and knowledge have come from reading every day on bloomberg.com, money.com, Yahoo Finance, and other websites along with more books than I'd like to count.

By consistently expanding my repetoire, I became knowledgeable. By no means am I the best in this field (not yet at least...haha), but I am on my way to constantly improving. Each day, I read, follow my investments, read reports, learn things, then DO IT!!!

I have one tip that I have found to be REALLY good at keeping you to doing something everyday. You may ask, what is it?

DEDICATE A SET AMOUNT OF TIME TO DOING WHATEVER IS NECESSARY TO MAKE YOUR FUTURE WHAT YOU WANT IT TO BE!!!!

Simple isn't it? Why didn't I write or work on my business ventures as much as I wanted to? I didn't follow this rule. Ask yourself if you have violated this rule and then find a way to set aside more and more time to get the future you desire!!!!

Where Have I Been?

Wow...has this summer been a blur! On June 21, I got back from a trip visiting my amazing girlfriend. Thought I would start writing then. But then, as this summer has proven, life can throw things in your path that you don't expect.

For me, a few things have been big. I am in the process of getting my first apartment. I have lived with my dad for the last 2 years or so as I have studied at PSU. I love him, my stepmom, and my little brother very much. However, it feels right to get my own place these days. A huge step in my life for sure.

Another huge thing has been the startup of my business ventures. Along with this blog, I am working on a wellness distributorship and a car ad website with great teams in each business. I am very excited as I have a conference later in August for the wellness business and the team I'm on for the car ad business is great and working diligently. I'm also working as a coauthor for a book using Excel in healthcare finance.

The biggest change for me however is my new relationship. I have to say I've been blessed with a smart, beautiful, and supportive girlfriend who will help me do a lot and achieve my goals. I'm very lucky to have her and she has taught me so much about "Da Free Life" and what it can really do if you live it. Because I live this lifestyle, I have attracted her. Moral of this story? Live this lifestyle to the fullest and you will achieve everything you are meant to!

So, here over the next few weeks, I have another vacation and in the meantime, a lot of writing to do to catch up on the month or so off!!! So anyhow, enjoy your summer readers and live up to your fullest potential everyday. I can attest to the benefits of this lifestyle and am feeling the rewards of it!
